Your Hypothesis is 100% Right!!

This morning, when I woke up, one small thought came to my mind,

“Maybe today someone won’t like me.”

It wasn’t a strong feeling. Just a quiet idea, a Hypothesis. I didn’t fight about the thought, but carried it with me into the day.

Later, a person looked at me with no expression. Not bad. Not good. Just neutral.

But my mind immediately said, “See? Someone doesn’t like me.”

My hypothesis became proof.

Another day, a different morning:

I woke up thinking,

“Maybe someone will be kind to me today.”

A small hope. Nothing big.

Later, the cashier smiled and said, “Have a good day.”

A normal moment. But because of my hypothesis, I took it as evidence.

“See? Someone is kind.”

Same world. Different hypothesis. Different conclusion.

Then I understood something important. We think we are discovering the truth, but most of the time, we are only finding what we expect to find.

Every day is like an experiment with your own hypothesis. Life gives us many small events. We choose the ones that match our Hypothesis, while ignoring the Null Hypothesis.

If your hypothesis is:

  • “People dislike me,” you will notice the one person who seems cold.
  • “People are kind,” you will notice the one person who smiles.

Life has enough random moments to support any story you choose. So the real question becomes:

Which hypothesis are you living today?
