July 19 – 22 at Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Honolulu, Hawaii

Now we’re in a different island, Oahu island. Much bigger and busier, also have well known beach, Waikiki beach. Notice right away after landing at HNL airport that there are so many people in the airport and a highway was much bigger than Maui island. My wife and I are talking about if we’re actually in our vacation or not since feel like that we’re back in city environment. We’ll see how we feel like after a couple of days. We plan to stay in Honolulu for 6 nights 7 days at two different hotels. First hotel is Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. Check in and check the room. It has gorgeous view due to the high floor.
이제 우리 가족은 다름 섬이다. 바로 오하우 섬. 훨씬 크고, 복잡하고, 그리고 아주 잘 알려진 해변이 있다. 와이키키 해변. HNL공항에 창륙하자 마자 바로 느낄 수 있었던 것은 무지하게 사람이 많다는 것이었다. 그리고 고속도로도 마우리 섬보다 훨씬 넓었다. 아내와 나는 우리가 진짜 휴가를 온 걸까라는 이야기를 나누었다. 왜냐면 도시에서 도시에서 온 것 같은 마우이랑은 전혀 다른 느낌이었다. 몇일 지내보면 알겠지. 우리 가족은 이곳 호놀루루에서 6박7일을 두 호텔에서 지낼 예정이다. 첫번째 몇일은 바로 와이키키 비치 메리어트 리조트&스파이다.

The first night. Angela and I start to walk around to see what we have nearby because we decide not to rent a car. It’s like two endless parallel lines of restaurants and clothing shops side by side, with a school of people filled up. Well, first of all, we have to find some food for our dinner. First food is from “Blue Ocean Seafood & Steak” and second one is from “Poke Bar”
첫날밤, 안젤라와 나는 차를 렌트를 하지 않았기에 주변에 무엇이 있나해서 걷기로 했다. 쭉뻗은 도로 양쪽으로 꽉찬 사람들과 레스토랑들. 일단은 먹어야 하겠기에 음식부터 골랐다. 첫번째 음식은 “Blue Ocean Seafood & Steak”그리고 두번째 음식은 “Poke Bar”.

So today is a second day and love to walk around even further. Not sure if kids want to walk around with us since they like to stay in the hotel. Sometimes it should be okay for them sit around while two of grownups are having some fund out side. We decide to walk on the beach first and search for some restaurants. Not sure what else we can do near this beach city, other than walking the beach and eat in a restaurant.
두번째 날이다. 오늘은 좀더 더 멀리 걸어보기로 했다. 아이들은 그냥 호텔에서 있고 싶다고 해서 뭐 가끔은 그런것도 괜찮겠다 싶어 그냥 아내와 둘이서 비치를 걷고 다른 레스토랑들을 찾아보기로 했다. 이곳 같은 해변도시에서는 비치를 걷고 레스토랑에서 음식을 먹는 것을 빼고 뭘 할 수 있을까 생각도 해본다.
