25th – On Christmas day morning, GPS says about 8.5hrs driving from Yorba Linda to Reno NV. Well, a pit stop was inevitable so we did at Denny’s. Relaxing my back and kids boredom. After Denny’s, we were able to realize that it’s getting close to Reno since lots of white snow started showing up.
26th – it’s time to meet up with kids friends family at lake Tahoe. It’s been a while seeing this much snow since our family left Canada about 4 yrs ago. Do I miss shoveling? of course not, but I can say that missing snow. It’s still beautiful. Finally kids met and enjoying their time. Seems like grownups are having fun as well. ?
27th – Rainy day so two families decided to visit a couple of indoor places in Reno. Went The Discovery – Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum
28th – It’s another time to do some snow ?️ activities. Everyone except mommies went a tubing place near, called Granlibakken Ski & Sled Hill. Downhill on a plastic sled ? had all kids LOL ? all the way. Another great outdoor fun!!
29th – It’s rainy day ☔ in Reno where we stay , so decided to visit Nevada Museum ? of Art. It’s really nice and cozy. Alice and Mommy went to tour and Nathan and daddy sit in a museum cafeteria ☕ to relax.
30 and 31st – Now, it’s snowy day, not just snow ❄⛄ but lots of snow. Driving is warned and some roads are blocked. Well, just stay in the hotel for now. Hope it gets better
January 1st 2023 – We can’t wait any longer so decided to drive out of the town first. Let’s go!!
Slow Driving doesn’t seem end, so decided to stay in Sacramento. Let’s celebrate the new year!!
Kids are not interested in staying in Sacramento as you can see. Well, so parents decided to walk to Sacramento Old Town.
January 2nd 2023 – Let’s go HOME!! Just quick stop by Old Town again with kids.
