Visiting a customer at Aarhus University in Aarhus Denmark. It’s a pretty long journey (flight and drive) from So Cal to Aarhus. Luckily got upgraded to the first class so was able to sleep a bit. Still tired due to the time difference (9hrs). Landed at CPH Copenhagen airport at night and found out my luggage and toolbox were left behind at Amsterdam airport. What a journey.
덴마크의 오후스라는 도시에 위치한 오후스 대학에 커스터머를 방문하게 되었다. 캘리포니아 남부에서 오후스 까지는 비행기와 운전을 포함한 긴 여정이었다. 운좋게도 일등석으로 업그레이드가 되어서 잠시 누워갈 수 있는 호사는 누렸다. 그래도 9시간 시차는 꽤나 빡빡하다. 또한 코펜하겐 공항에 창륙을 했는데 내 물건들 모두가 암스테르담 공항에서 남겨져 있다는 것을 알게되었다. 이런~~~
Regardless of my luggage, I have to move on to drive to Aarhus. It’s late night around 10pm and hope to find an open restaurant to have a dinner. Well, the hotel I’m staying only serves a breakfast and all nearby restaurants kitchen closes at 9pm. Luckily found a kebab place to survive.
물건에 상관없이 일단은 오후스로 이동을 해야했다. 밤도 늦었고, 대략 10시, 저녁시간에 맞춰서 도착할 수 있을까 걱정을 살짝했다. 역시나 내가 머무는 호텔은 단지 아침식사만 제공을 하였고 주변의 레스토랑들의 주방은 모두 9시에 문을 닫았다. 다행이도 케밥집을 찾아서 생존을 가능했다.
Next morning without any toilettes, I still have to eat some food so walk into the hotel kitchen. what a small cozy space along with unexpected nice breakfast!! First breakfast in Denmark is great. Starting with some bread and main dish with lots of varieties. After the breakfast, walked into the courtyard of the hotel, and felt warm.
다음날 아침, 세면도구는 없었지만 그래도 뭔가를 먹어야 겠기에 호텔 주방으로 향했다. 와우…작은 포근한 장소의 기대하지 못했던 아침. 덴마크에서의 첫번째 아침식사는 성공적이다. 몇가지의 빵으로 시작해서 여러가지 다양한 음식으로 이어진 메인 메뉴. 아침 식사후 향한 호텔의 마당은 정말 따뜻한 느낌이었다.
